MTHRS Studio - Tacoma, WA

My dear friend and I are both birth & family photographers (and you guessed it, mothers) in Washington, which means we are at the whims of nature when scheduling shoots. We decided to open our wee little studio to offer a consistent option for our clients. We have been very intentional with our 100 square feet in order to maximize storage and provide versatility. We currently have a creamy seamless backdrop and black fabric option, a handful of chairs & stools, various linens & swaddles, and a couch that turns into a bed.

MTHRS Studio is in the most darling, secured building, located just above The Fernseed on South Tacoma Way. We share the block with Howdy Bagel, The Church Cantina, and The Mule Tavern, to name drop a few local favorites. Make an adventure day out of your session!

Studio Sessions are Versatile

Since our humble studio's inception we've been given the freedom to play, and as an artist, that is just about the best thing ever! I've personally been able to dip my toes into the "light and airy" aesthetic, while also lavishing in my creative "dark and moody" home. When booking your session we'll discuss your vision for your photos and plan accordingly.
